Kings Plastics going strong at 70
"Our team is highly skilled and has an extensive knowledge of the signage industry"
Founded in 1947, Kings Plastics – The Sign Build Centre success today is the result of hard work and dedication across the generations of the Underhill family. This year will see it celebrate its milestone achievement of 70 years in business with a series of special customer offers and by exhibiting at SignLink Live in October—to showcase its extensive and innovative product portfolio.
With an impressive customer roster that includes Aardman Animations (Wallace and Gromit), Banksy Dismaland, BBC’s Antiques Roadshow and Eastenders, ITV's X Factor, and The Brit Awards, the Kings Plastics’ team has managed to grow and evolve over its history and is now one of the UK sign industry’s most well respected trade suppliers.
Indeed, a letter sent to the company by one of its key clients, Steven Cox of Avara Pharmaceutical Services, perhaps reveals why: "Just a note to thank you for the delivery of the signs. I know you had to pull out all the stops to get them delivered on time. They look fantastic. Everyone on site are saying how great they are, and how they added significantly to the success of our launch day. We will certainly be using Kings Plastics again."
What this comment highlights is Kings has managed to achieve the three fundamental cornerstones of a competitive business; a quality product, at the right price, and produced within a competitive time frame.
Led by Mark Underhill, grandson of one of the company’s founders, Kings Plastics certainly can boast an impressive array of products and trade services. Indeed, it offers a ‘complete signage solution’ and provides a national service from its headquarters in Bristol.
"Our team is highly skilled and has an extensive knowledge of the signage industry, which is at your disposal during your project. Also, we only use the highest quality products and materials for total customer satisfaction, which is always of a paramount importance to us," says Underhill.
So, with all that under its belt, and with its sights set on a bright future, Underhill concludes: “We have been helping our clients to promote their business brands, products and services through our extensive range of signage solutions since 1947 and have been proud to serve every one of our customers. In our 70th year in business I am proud to be continuing our family legacy and of the fantastic team around me.”
70 years on the cutting edge, Kings Plastics has continued to evolve and push the boundaries of signage manufacturing throughout its history and today boasts a cutting-edge portfolio of trade products and services.
